Fuel Efficiency Adds to the Appeal of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Not only will the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee be boasting an unmistakable style, when released it will be the most fuel-efficient Jeep model ever to hit the U.S. roads.

Featuring Chrysler's 2.4 liter, four-cylinder engine, the front-wheel drive Jeep Cherokee an EPA estimated 31 miles-per-gallon on the highway, matching the Jeep brand expectations announced at the New York Auto Show earlier this year. The four-wheel drive with a four cylinder and front-wheel drive with V6 are both rated at 28 miles-per-gallon highway with the V6 four-wheel drive coming in at 27 miles-per-gallon highway. We are still awaiting the fuel economy ratings for the Trailhawk model, which should be posted soon.

The impressive fuel economy ratings help the automaker reach their goal of broadening their customer base with the uniquely-styled Cherokee. The previous Cherokee available from the Jeep brand achieved 22 miles-per-gallon highway.
